October 26, 2016

QBurst unveiled three of its latest applications at the GITEX Tech Week in Dubai. This included Omnia, an Industrial IoT platform, a voice recognition system for Amazon Echo, and a virtual reality application for Oculus Rift.

Omnia is an Industrial IoT platform developed by QBurst that enables plant managers to monitor and manage industrial machinery remotely and in near real time. QBurst’s voice recognition software, customized for Echo, was developed by applying data science and machine learning. The scenario demonstrated at the event was for implementation in hotel rooms to provide a no UI communication experience.

Another application that captured the attention of visitors was the virtual reality experience created for a car showroom. It was customized for Oculus Rift and simulated a virtual environment to enable car buyers to tour the vehicle and see it in varying styles and colors.
