Code For Duty’24
CFD’24, the hackathon conducted by QBurst Koratty, had participants tackle real-world problems using cutting-edge technologies.
The competitive event aimed to inspire QBurstians to develop innovative solutions leveraging emerging technologies. It spanned over two weeks, starting with a registration puzzle and idea submission on July 8, followed by a week of development, an overnight coding session, and final presentation on July 25. The two-week sprint afforded participants the time to come up with well-thought-out solutions with a better understanding of the project lifecycle.
CFD’24 brought together 100 participants in 18 teams.
GeekSquad secured the first position with Pixel Perfect, an AI-powered visual regression testing solution that can identify UI inconsistencies during development.
Data Dumplings came in second with Meetmate, an AI-based solution for preparing MoM for virtual calls.
Team Crackers’s idea, Swag.ui, placed them third on the leaderboard. Swag.ui is a user-friendly UI that allows developers to generate Swagger (OpenAPI) documentation for their APIs.
