QBurst Tech Talk at Mercedes-Benz
QBurst architects shared their insights on building data science projects in a series of five technology-packed sessions in Bangalore last week.
The QBurst Tech Talk was held on Oct 25th at the Mercedes-Benz R&D India (MBRDI) headquarters in Bangalore. Organized especially for the teams at MBRDI, the sessions focused on orienting the audience on how to jump-start a data science project.
QBurst team that led the talk included Sajith Devarajan, Director of Engineering, Srijith Vijayamohan, Architect, and Ravi Padmaraj, Project Manager. Together, the trio walked the MBRDI crowd through various data science techniques and project experiences.
The first part of the session introduced the different approaches in data science, progressing from traditional or classical data science to the newer machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques. This was followed by the exploration of concepts such as deep learning, image processing, and natural language processing.
Towards the end, the team put forth broad steps and practical guidelines for managers and developers to successfully execute data science projects. All of these were illustrated through real examples and case studies from the QBurst portfolio.
QBurst Tech Talk is a new initiative by QBurst to share knowledge and practical wisdom with our clients. The talks at MBRDI are planned to be held every quarter going forward. While aimed at introducing client teams to newer technologies, the topics for the tech talks will be aligned to our client’s goals and needs to keep them relevant to the audience.
